Search & Rescue

Here we built an application in partnership with Unity for the Iron-Dev IITSEC competition. We worked with subject matter expert Mark Sussman to design a VR implementation of the Army standard MARCH for a downed patient on the field.

Unitys HDRP enabled us to build highly visceral environments while still enabling us to maintain high frame rates for our target specs. It’s also one of the first use cases of UNity HDRP used in VR for a training scenario.

In this scenario you act as a park ranger who has received word that one of your fellow rangers was in an accident. With the assistance of a drone, your augmented reality device and your commander you work together to locate the fellow ranger, provide them with medical assistance and finally evacuate them from the site of the crash.
